My name is Elya Moline, and I am thrilled to be teaching at San Clemente Christian School. I was born in Napa Valley, California but spent most of my early life in Lancaster, California. I received my BA in Global Studies from UCLA and my single subject credential in English and Master of Arts in Teaching from UCI. One of my passions in life is travel. I volunteered in Cambodia and taught English in Seoul, South Korea as well as Phuket, Thailand. I completed one year of student teaching at Shorecliffs Middle School. As a daughter of former missionaries, I desire to share my overseas work and volunteer experiences to inspire students to utilize the potential God has given them to be change agents in their world. My mission is to ignite a love of learning in students while helping them to achieve both their academic and personal potentials.
