Christina Rygiol
Third Grade
I am thrilled to be joining the SCCS family, teaching 3rd grade this year! This year marks my 16th year of teaching in grades ranging from Pre-K to 4th. I'm a in So. Cal native and earned both a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology as well as my Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis on Reading as well as a Director's Certificate in Early Childhood Ed.
Throughout my years of teaching, my joys have been watching students grow academically, socially and spiritually under my guidance. I love being a part of that “light bulb moment” when students grasp a new concept and their face lights up. My greatest joy is sharing Jesus with my students and helping them to live into who God created them to be.
I live in Ladera Ranch with her husband of twenty three years! We just recently moved our daughter into college at University of Utah where she will be studying nursing. In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with family and friends. I am an active volunteer at church and have a huge heart for global missions! Iove to hang out at the beach, travel to new places, try new foods, and ride bikes along the coast. I look forward to guiding my students into a lifelong love of learning and a deeper relationship with the creator of it all! Let the adventure begin!
