My name is Summer Anderson and I am the Discovery Director here at San Clemente Christian School. I’m so excited to be a part of this community as working with children has always been my passion. I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to help guide and inspire young minds each day!

I bring over 13 years of experience as a Curriculum Specialist and Trainer for the Department of Defense Child Development Centers aboard Camp Pendleton, where I had the privilege of supporting early childhood educators and developing programs that nurtured the whole child. I’ve been deeply committed to creating engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments where children can thrive.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Education from Central Michigan University. In addition, I am a Board-Certified Advocate in Special Education, which has equipped me with the tools and understanding to better support diverse learners and partner with families in meaningful ways.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child is uniquely created by God with purpose and potential. I believe in teaching with love, structure, and intentionality, helping each child grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally. At San Clemente Christian School, I wholeheartedly embrace our mission to partner with families in providing a Christ-centered education, and to help students develop a biblical worldview, a strong moral character, and a love for learning.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy photography, baking, and spending time at the beach with my family. Capturing life's little moments, trying new recipes, and soaking in the sun brings me so much joy!

This school year, I’m especially looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces walk through the classroom doors. I can’t wait to build lasting relationships with my students and their families and to witness the incredible growth that lies ahead.
