Discovery Director/Intervention
My name is Summer Anderson and I am the Intervention Specialist for the Discovery Program at San Clemente Christian. I began my educational career with the Department of Defense aboard Camp Pendleton in 2009. The military lifestyle is unique as it is transitory, and my expertise and coaching style ensured staff received appropriate support and guidance with the children and families in their care. As their Training and Curriculum Specialist, I included the most up to date early childhood curriculum framework as well as our Reggio Emilia inspired goals and objectives into areas of physical, emotional, social, creative, and cognitive development for children enrolled in the program. I have a clear understanding of the role education plays in this process and completed my Master’s Degree in 2013. I have also been an instructor at Park University teaching undergraduate courses in Early Childhood and Education Studies. My goal is to create a motivational, supportive learning environment for your children during their educational and spiritual journey with Christ.
