Brienna Cook
First Grade
Hello! My name is Brienna Cook and I am so blessed and excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year. Teaching at SCCS is a dream come true for me, and I feel incredibly honored that God has called me to serve in this role. I graduated from Califonia State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Studies and obtained my teaching credential through California State University, Fresno. From a young age, I have felt a deep calling from the Lord to work with children, and teaching is the ministry God has placed on my heart. My desire is to serve Him by helping to shape young minds and hearts for His kingdom. My teaching philosophy is rooted in a child-centered, collaborative approach. I strive to create a nurturing, warm, Christ-centered environment where every child feels loved and encouraged. I am committed to integrating God's truth into all areas of learning, and pointing students to Christ in all that we do. Outside of teaching, I love beach days with my husband and our dog, Forrest. I am looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning, growth, and God's goodness!
