Greetings! My name is Tania Alward, and this is my 4th year at SCCS! I completed my Bachelor's degree and Teaching Credential Program at Concordia University, Irvine. I hold a Master of Arts Degree from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), where I taught courses in Human Communication Studies for two years. After working in Capistrano Unified School District for 7 years, I joined the phenomenal SCCS team! I love Jesus, I love SCCS, and I love teaching! I work hard to help my students foster a growth mindset where they learn to embrace challenges and develop grit. I am fully convinced that mindset matters, so I am committed to helping students develop perseverance in the process of learning. My prayer is that students would leave my classroom at the end of the year exhibiting high levels of academic growth, increased confidence in themselves, and an amplified love for Jesus.
